TOBACCO STOCK DESTROYED
SYDNEY, Aug. 30
A fire destroyed a shed in which there were stored 38 tons of tin insured graded tobacco leaf, worth £B,OOO, at Ashford, near Inverell, to-day. Portion of this leaf recently sold at 2s od per pound.
