Commenting on the visit of Mr Downie Stewart, Now Zealand Finance Minister, and Mr Park, of the New Zealand treasury to London, the “Financial News” says:—The position is sufficiently re-assuring to make possible a conversion of .earlier Now Zealand issues on reasonably favourable terms, but it is doubtful, however, whether any spectacular saving (ouhli be a liicved for tile Dominion, which in tl:<* past, lias rarely bad to furrow on really expensive terms. Tts credit at the moment is approximately on a 4-1 per cent basis.
