After a week’s ■adjournment, the mechanical hare inquiry was resumed to-day. Mr J. Galbraith/ former Isecretary of the Greyhound Coursing Association, when questioned about a thousand pounds cheque drawn by his Association for payment to a syndicate interested in procuring a license ' for tin hare coursing: at Cessnock, •• said that he remembered nothing aliout such a cheque, and he denied that such a cheque Hvas cashed into notes fo*" the purpose of bribery. The hearing was adjourned.
