TOURNAMENT AT ROTORUA. ROTORtfA, August 23. The annual open championship tournament ofl the Rotorua Golf Club opened at Arikikapakapa links to-day. Over ninety golfers from all parts of the North Island ore participating, the entries being in excess, of last year. The conditions for the qualifying round was rendered difficult by a choppy wind, and generally mediocre scores were returned.
