John David Dennis, aged 21, formerly a clerk in the office of the Rodney County Council, to-day admitted stealing a sum of £SO, between August 1930 and December 4, 1931. He was remanded in custody. COUNTY CLERK'S OFFENCE. AUCKLAND, August 22.

Louis John Vejry, 51 years of age, formerly a county clerk, was charged with stealing £72, and was remanded. 'The police sai\l that he would be charged with stealing a total amount of £250.
