Miss Jean Margaret MacDonald , the Prime Minister’s second daughter, has received notification from Edinburgh University that she has gained . the M.B. and Oh.B degrees. She is m her twenty-fourth year. Congratulations flowed into No. 10 Downing Street when this became known. vSir Thomas Herder, physician in. ordinary to the Prince of Wales, was among the first of Mr MacDonald s friendis to call and congratulate. Miss MacDonald. Miss MacDonald is engaged to a medical man, Dr. Alnstair Mackinnon, who took his degree in 1929 and is a year older.
