SALARY CUTS

Hie North Canterbury Acclimatisation Society to-night, by resolutions, rescinded their previous decision not to impose salary cuts on their employees. They agreed to impose a leduction of ten per cent on the salary of the Secretary and their two Rangers. If there should be any surplus at the end of the year these reductions are. to be restored.
