The English League team gave the New Zealand Thirteen a football lesson qn : the Winter Show Grounds this afternoon,'when, in an exhibition match the visitors piled up 59 points to the New Zealanders’ 8.

Tries were scored . for . England by Woods (4), Feetham (2\ Brogden (2), Fender, Hudson (2), Williams, Atkinson. Jim Sullivan, the English captain,, converted ten of the thirteen tries, some of them with magnificent kicks from the side-line. New Zealand’s points were made up by two tries scored, by Calder, one of which was converted by .Sea-gar., The English team this morning visited the Karori Cemetery,,, where they laid a wreath on the grave of the late A. H, Baskerville, who organised the New Zealand League team which visited England in 1906. v •
