GALES IN TASMAN
STILL HAMPERING SHIPPING. (Australian Press Association.) (Received this day at 9.30 a.m.), , SYDNEY, August ‘ 17. Strong south-westerly gales continue to hamper shipping in the Tasman Sea. A wireless message received from the Kalingo indicated- that the vessel which is due at Sydney to-day, is ;finable to make more than five knots, and is not now expected until-Friday.
