Britain is experiencing a mild, pleasant- Heat wave, with the temperature about 80 degrees, patches of fog in the channel'' have not spread inland, where , delightful summer weather is general. The highest -temperature for the past two years was to-day recorded in London, when the thermometer reached 88 degrees in the shade, and 132 in the sun.
