The manager of the New Zealand Hockey team (Mr Holland), broadcasting to New Zealand to-night, said the team was very fit, and hoped to retain the Manning Memorial Cup. Of 12 matches played on the tour, twelve were won, and one was drawn. A’fl matches played helped to perfect the training with a view to winning the test to-morrow. The weather prospects* are fi' e, but the ground is hard. Turbitt and Reid -have recovered from their injuries.
