W George Sargieitf, found guilty of being in possession of a bomb and gelignite, with intent to commit a crime was sentenced to-diay by 1 Justice 'Smith to twelve:months’ hard labour. His 'Honour isaid it had not been proved: that the prisoner was an active member of .any organisation, whose avowed, dbjeict was ..the destruction of society, but,, it was impossible fio re-r gard' 1 his offence® lightly. In view of his'i good record, only half tlie full penalty would be imposed.
