with Cobden team the runners-up. At ' the* conclusion of the tournament the President of the Association, Miss
Pedder, presented the cup to the captail* ,of the Hokitika team, a nd con- • Wiiulated the team and Cobden team /on j- their particuclarly good and consistent display. Other teams who had played well were Ta.vlorville, Convent, arid: Paroa,' and these also were to be congratulated. After cheers -|had' been for the two leading teams, Miss NTJale (Hokitika) congratulated the remainiug teams on their, play and called for cheers for them. Results were: —Hokitika 11 wins. - 22 points j Cobden 10 wins, 1 draw, 20; ’ Coriyerit' 16; Paroa 1.5.; Taylorvill'e,. , ftunanga, Main 8., Hokitika B. 11 each, Main A 7, Blackball (black) 5.
