Efforts" to locate the leak iii the Arapufii Headrace are still unsuccessful, arid tile coristruetiori of a coffer dam to facilitate remedial measures to the dabiaged tile bath are proceeding. About 120 men ; are working three shifts, and are busily engaged in this connection. In the meantime boring is proceeding in the effort to locate the underground stream, the cause of the undermining of portion of the tiled liniiig in the headrace. Hard rock is encountered in the boring, adding to the difficulty of' these measures. Until the underground strehih' is tapped permanent Repairs' to tlie lining cannot be undertaken. US* • -:L
