RUGBY, August 6. •%)ver 300' holiday makers, bound from Weyniquth to Jersey, last night, were safely taken off the Great Western Railway steamer St. Patrick, which grounded in a fog on the rocks off •Luaoorbieifs Point, in Jersey. The St. Patrick sent a wireless call, which was quickly answered by a railway steamer and-tugs from St. Heher. The passengers , were * trans ferred, and most fc>f them landed at that port at midnight. Tim passengers behaved calmly and showed no alarm. The Si. Patrick, which had one stole b hold hooded, remained upright. Her sister ■ship, the St. Julien, was' standing‘by this morning, preparatory to towi.ng her to St. Aubyin’s Bay, ,where she will be beached. :: 'i '/ j:
