POWER .STOPPING. emptying head Race. (Per Press Associations AUCKLAND’, August 4. A temporary cessation of power generation at Arapuni seems imminent.. It has been hoped that the source -of, the ilemkagje .could be defected' /and' the 'trouble remedied, without emptying the headrace, and so stopping the turbines, but from a warning received by the Power Board, it is believed that the headrace must be emptied..
