The Australian cricketers closed the four-imatch series here to-day with a score of 187 for four wickets against 107 stored by the Illinois Cricket Association. Scores were: Bradman (out) 41, McCabe (not out) Co, Richardson 12, Nutt 11, Kippax 21, Tolhurst (not out) 28; extras 9. Illinois batted eighteen. Tves took three fur 22, Mailey five for 34, and Fleetwood-Smith eiglit for 29. LONDON, July 27. India, first, 8 for CB, versus Northumberland.
