Tastes in tobacco vary a lot. Some men like a very mild aromatic and can. not smoke anything stronger. Others prefer a medium strength—the happy medium!—while others again—thes. are * the veterans, the boys of the old brigade—must have the full-flavoured article, for nothing else is any good to them. Well, there ‘ are plenty of brands. 'Most of them, as everybody knows, come from Yankeeland. And most of , them are the same in one respect—they contain an excess of nico tirie', the evil effects of which will manifest themselves sooner or later, iti the case of every smoker using these tobaccos. However, New Zealanders need not worry about that. Uur own tobaccos are practically free from nicotine because they are toa-Hed, and that!’ process extracts the poison! There is no fine! - tobacco produced’in any country than .the New Zealand. There are only four brands: Riverbead Gobi, Navy Cut No. 3, Cavendish and 'Cut Plug No. 10.
