Dancing wag kept going till ;3 a,mV and 1 alb seemed to enjoy the aft’ehdid 'music . supplied by the ffiosg OrchestraV '' ' The .waltzing competition was continued, nine flremer. competing. The judges decided in favour of Fireman A. . (Head with Miss Nancy McMullan as his partner. As the same couple won last year, .the silver cup now become* the property of Fireman Head, having wos it twice in succession.’ Mieis-lc- - Mullan was. the recipient of a special • prize. The decision was quite a popular one. A dainty suppep. was served at midnight, being much appreciated. The Hall was nicely : decorated with coloured streamers and evergreens, which made a very gay appearance.. Messrs A. Head and R. Richards made capable . M.C. >.
