KILLED BY TRAM
FATALITY AT AUCKLAND. (Per Press Association — Copyright ) AUCKLAND, July 21. As a result of being crushed by a tram, fatal injuries were received by L. 01-sen, of Remuera, whil e working in the Epsom tram depot. Olsen, who was married-and 48 years at age, was a car examiner, and lie had been employed in the tramway service fo; many years. The accident ■ ocurretl near the entrance 'to the depot, where there is an office with corrugated iron walls, at which the tramway staff signs on for duty. A member of the running crew at the dejfot was moving; a trarticar out on to- the track in readiness for the day’s run, when it was found that Olsen was crushed between the wall of the office and the' tram. Olsen was removed to the hospital, where he died shortly after 2 o’clock.
