FISHING CHARGES

CRITICISM REPLIED TO

' Criticism by Lady Yule, who visited Bay of 'lslands last fishing season in her steam yacht Nahlin, was discussed at a ■ meeting of the Bay of Island Swoi'dHsh and Make Club in consequence of a-letter received from the Ru’ssei]'Progress League referring to the cost of launch hire to the visitors.

‘Mr E. 'C: Arlidge, speaking on belialf of Arlidge Brothers, said ’ that bis price as quoted through the High Obmmission'Ar’s Office and confirmed by ‘Lady ifufe* was £3 10s per day for launch hire, plus benzine, and £1 per day - for a spare man. The period contracted for was three weeks following the arrival of the Nahlin at Rus•eell; '. * . '
