Mollison has provisionally chosen AugU’.t 7th as 'the date to commence his intended double Atlantic crossing. He intends to fly from Dublin to Harbour Grace (Newfoundland), and then to New York.. He hopes to return from New York on “a non-stop flight to Croydon. His machine is to be fitted with a three thousand mile 'tankage.
WEIR ABANDONS FLIGHT.
SYDNEY, July 19
Private advice from Karachi state J. M. Weir, the Sydney airman, has abandoned his flight to England owing to illness, and he proceeds on by steamer.
