ENCOURAGING LAWLESSNESS
(Per Press Association — Copyright.) WELLINGTON,’JuIy 19. The charge against Chanles Barker, of inciting and encouraging lawlessness and violence, was dismissed by Mr E. Page, S.M.c in his reserved judgment, delivered lito-day. The evidence against Barker was that at a meeting at the Basin Reserve on the 24th April h© was distributing pamphlets to the public who were in ibis vicinity.
