INTOXICATED MAN IN CHARGE. (Per Press Association — ;Copyriyht.) WELLINGTON, July 19. Arrested at Moxham Avenue on Thursday evening after -bis car had collided with a motor lorry and smashed rthe gates of the Ki’.birnie ,'Police Station, and finally come to a '‘-stop in a hedge opposite a side road, Wilfred Rainsford Homersh-am, 37, traveller. Iwas fined £2O to-day, fo: being found intoxicated when in charge of a motor car. It was stated that Homersham was married, and had been in the sam e employment for 23 years. If he was. to Tetain the position, it was essential that he should be. able to drive a car. 'His license, was not interfered with, It was pointed out that .in addition to the fine, he had incurred heavy damage to the car, and other -expenses, and £4 or £5 damage to the police gates. ,
