ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES

COLLISION WITH CART. (Per Press Association— Copyright.) \ , AUCKLAND, July 18. Fatal injuries to the head were received ;■ by ’ Frank Treanor, the caretaker, at the Auckland Aero Cluo grounds at Mangere, j when a small baby car he w«s driving collided with a house drawn cart to-night. Treanor was struck on the- side of the head by the shaii of the cart, which pierced the windscreen of the car. .He received terrible injuries, and died ten minutes after his admission to the hospital. The car was badly damaged, but the cart and horse escaped injury. Treanor was a married man with two children.
