Elliott is 'suffering from -shin soreness, but is receiving electric massage. The New Zealand eight have settled down to solid work, rowing twice dai’y on the two thousand metre Olympic course at Long Beach. Alf at present are a littl e over weight. The rowhg coach expects a big improvement within a week. The new boat has been found to b e excellently .suitable for the stadi ahi course.
