NEW DREDGING COMPANY. DUNEDIN, July 8. An announcement of interest mad to-day was -that -a- wealthy Londoi syndicate had secured, an option ove two claims pn the Molyneux river be low Alexandra, covering a tota length of 19 miles. The proposal i to form a- company with a capital o not less than £250,000 and fo plac two large dredges of modern type oi this stretch of the river. Arrange ments for the option, it is stated were made by Mr F. W. Payne dur ing his recent visit to New Zealand He is now on his way to London tundertnke the formation of a company KING SOLOMON DEEP LEAD. INVERCARGILL, July 8.
