A crowd numbering some thousands boseiged the Central Labour Office, erv- 1 ing : “We are hungry. Give us bread.” A special correspondent of the ‘‘Manchester Guardian’ ’ in Berlin telegraphs that every other tree in the country is painted with the Nazi swastika emblem. Peasants stop working co greet travellers .with the Fascist salute. They expect that 1 a triumph for Herr Hitler, th'e’Fascist leader, in the-'elec-tion on July 31, will mean the cancellation of debts. They want the exclusion of all foreign agricultural produce.
