HOKITIKA MEDAL MATCH.
' In the monthly medal match played on Saturday a number of good cards were handed in. The performance oi Adamson in returning a gross score of 73 (two under par) was brilliant, the deduction of the handicap of seven, leaving him an easy winner. The following are : V the detailed results : Adamson 73-7-66; W. E. Broivn 98 —24—74; T. Stuart 104—30—174; Darby 88—13—75; Mandl 99—24—75; Chesney 79—3—76; Wyles 96—19—76; Cox 92—13—79; Kortegast 100—21— 79, . 1 ■ . : The following reductions in handicaps have now been effected Adamson from ,7—5 to 4—3; W. E. Brown from 24—18 to 23—17; T. Stuart from 30—23 to-29—22; Wyles from 19—14 to 18 —14.
UNEARNED HANDICAPS
