WEDDING BELLS

CAMVEcELL-BECKER. • A quiet but pretty' wedding was solemnised in the Presoy terian Church Totara. Flat, last Wednesday evening,, the contracting parties being Ella Mae youngest- daughter of Mr, and Mrs E. H. Beckei: of Te Kinga, , and Jacob Dundonald Mafek.ng, youngest, son of Mr and the late Mr Campbell, Gfshorne. Rev.' J. Rattray officiated. The bride,, who w.s escorted by her brother, Mr John B’ecker (owing to her father being indisposed), wore a frock of cream suede, with a tight-fitting bodice and a fully-flared skirt, which bbng in graceful folds; her tulle veil was held in place by a wreath of orange blossom and ghe carried a ; bouquet of pale pink and creaih chrysanthemums and asparagus fern. Mrs A. Honey attended the bride as matron of honour. , BOAVE-NEDD. On Monday at Westport a marriage took place in St. Canice’s 1 Church, vhen Bella third daughter qf the late Mr and Mr* Xedd, of Reefton and Hokitika, was married to Tom, l3 on of Mrs Bowe, and the late- Mr Bowe of Westport. Rev. Father Phelan officiated. The bride" was neatly- attired in a crepe suede fiock afld wore a hat of similar tne. She carried a bouquet of pink belladonnas relieved with maiden hair fern. Mies Bowe,. s-V,ter of the bridegroom, was bridesmaid, and wore a becoming frock of morone cellanese, with hat to match ’-’he carried a beautiful bouquet of r-ream roses and maiden hair fern. Mr'J. Bowe acted as best man. The bride was given away by Air -T. Brxirnlale, Granity. After the ceremonv a reception was held at the residence of the bridegroom’s mother.
