ART UNION WINNER
NOW 7 CHARGED AS BANKRUPT. (Per. Press Association— Copyright.) WELLINGTON, July 4 - The winner of the first prize, of .£3OOO in an art union last, year, John Moug, <a mercer, was committed to the Supreme Court for trial by the Magistrate -to-day on the following charges : 1. That on January 2, 1933, having been adjudged bankrupt, he .did, by gambling <u- -unjustifiable extravagance in living, bring about his bankruptcy. 2. Thai: with intent to defraud his creditors, h© conccailed or removed £SOO within two months before the date of n>t unsatisfied iiulgment for £232 15s 6d being obtained .against him on September 24, by Thelma Stone.
