He dismissed; the appeal of Mgs Meurig Against Mr Justice M’Cardie’s judgment in favour, of the “Daily Mail.’’ ! . '“l am glad to -be able to do something to prevent it,’.’ Lord Justice Scrutton contihued. “The existence of a Deity and a Hell is a matter for the faith of each individual.” • '/Referring to the spirit utterances of Mrs Morris, Lord 'Justice Scrutton declared that it hnd not been suggested'by the “Daily Maii v that there was fraud on the part of the living person through whom the utterances were made.
The ease arose out of Mrs Moms’ claim that articles published' by the ‘/Daily MailV had been unfair and imputed fraud to her. Mr Justice iM’Car. die gave judgment in favour of the' “Daily Mail.”' Mrs Morris appealed for a new trial. 1
