• MOORE CIJP COMPETITION.' HOKITIKA LOSES IN FINAL. . -A' - knock-out'- tournament for., ’ the Moore Cup wais contested by thirteen teams at Greymouth on Saturday, representing Hokitika, Greymouth and Westport. The games Weria set .down foir the Technical ground, but owing to the rain overnight it was decided to hold them on the hard courts at the Main School.
- The tournament resulted in a, victory for the Westport Old Girls; who defeated last year’s -holders of the trophy, Hokitika Old Girls, ini the final by; four goals to two, after, an exciting game. ; . ■ The detailed results of . the rounds •are as follows:
