LOOT RECOVERED
JEWELLERY VALUED AT £2OO. TWO YOUNG MEN ARRESTED 1 . (Per Press Association— Copyright.) AUCKLAND, June *27. Diamond rings } gold brooches, and an army revolver figured i n a collection of articles, valued at about £2OO, which was grouped on a table in the Detective Office at the Central Police Station to-day. The articles, which, it is alleged, were stolen from houses in the city and suburbs recently, were found by detectives during their search of a house in Grey Lvnn. Following the theft last week of over £IOO worth of jewellery from the house of A. F. Mickle, at Henderson, detectives searched two houses and in the room of one. they found a large collection of jewellery and a revolver. The articles were taken to the police station, and an attempt was made to identify them. It is stated that the entire proceeds of the robbery at Mr Mickle’s hor.ee have bi -"i recovered. The revolver is alleged to be part of the proceeds of a robbery from . a house in Remuera Road. Two young men have been, arrested.
