AERODROME NEWS
SUCCESSFUL FLIGHT. A very successful flight from Hokitika to Christchurch was made by.the local Spartan aeroplane ZK—ABU, piloted by Flying Officer and Mr A. Nancekivell. The: left Hokitika at 3.23 and after ' crossing the Souther*^^^^ landed at Swannanoa at 4.55 p.ihb'-oty. .Y y ing to bad visibility. Tlie journey wag y resumed yesterday morning at, 9 a.m. and Wigram Aerodrome was reached at 9.15 a.m. tecYSH.' Whilst at Wigram Aerodrome, Mr A. Nancekivell passed the necessary, flight tests for a Pilot- “A ’ license, which was the primary object oi the visit. Tbe return journey was commenced at 2.50 p.m. yesterday and «s accomplished in eighty minutes the airmen landing on Die Hokitika aerodrome at 4.10 p.m.
