Cooke, the star back of the 1924 All Blacks, arrived in Auckland to-day to take up a position offered llitn by the Richmond League Club, on condition that he plays for that Club. Interviewed to-nighit, Cooke said it was quite true that lie would he playing for the Richmond Club next Saturday. ENGLISHMEN WIN AGAIN. BRISBANE, June 28. In the League football match to-dav at Cairns, England defeated the Ear North of Queensland by fifty-three points to eight.
