BAVARIAN KING

PROCLAMATION ANTICIPATED

(United Press Association—By Electric

Telegraph—Copyright.)

LONDON, June 27

The ‘‘Daily Express’s” Munich correspondent states: On authority of Dr. Heim, the veteran Bavarian Statesmen and the Leader of the Bavarian People’s Party, who is generally regarded as the inos.fi influential politician in the Bavarian State—a message may he expected at any moment announcing that Prince Ruprecht has been proclaimed as King of Bavaria. Doctor Heim added that seventyfive per cent of the Bavarians are monarchists. The Republican constitution that was proclaimed at Weimar is dead, lie says, but the monarchy will not mean the separation of Bavaria from the rest of Germany. That would be suicidal. -When a conflict with the Reich breaks out, Bavaria will want a King to lead her.
