VIOLENT SCENES ORANGEMEN ATTACK TRAIN. (United Press Association—By Electric i e.eg.aph—Copyright.) LONDON, June 27. “The Times” says: An Orange mob attacked a special train carrying Eiio.iaristic Ooagii'ess (excursionists at Ballymena, Antrim, in U-ster, wlfen they smashed the car windows, and several of the pi grims Wire injured. Crowds of hooligans paraded the streets of Ballymena singing party sengs and abusing the Pope. The hooligans best* ged the Congress pilgrims, upon their arriving at the station. The pilgrims were beaten, kicked, and pe.ted with stands. Bott'es and stones were thrown at tramcars that were conveying the pilgrims to Belfast station.
Tlie police charged the hooligans with bntonfi, two of the police being injured.

During an Orange parade at Dohaliialtrt, in Tyrone, flags of the Congress co.ours were hauled down and burned. There was considerable atone throwing and revolver shooting there, but nobody was seriously injured,
Tlie Bishop of Down then telegraphed to the Ulster Minister for Home Affairs, demanding the Government’s protection for .the Congress pilgrims on the homeward journey to Ulster. t f MORE TRAINS ATTACKED.
POLICE MAKE BATON CHARGE
(Received this day at 11.15 a.m.) LONDON, June 27
Trainloads of returning Eucharist’-c pilgrims were stoned at Porta-down, Lisburn and Belfast. Another wholly containing priests was also heavily: bombarded, necessitating .the police at Belfast to make a baton charge on the crowd of attackers armed with stones and bottles.
The Ulster Government issued a statement regretting the cowardly outrage?, and ordering active measures to punish the offenders.
