GOLD RECOVERED
SALVAGED FROM THE “EGYPT.’' (United Press Association—Jly Electric Telegraph— (lopyrigli t.) LONDON, June 25. Nearly a ton of gold has now been salved by the “Artiglio” divers from the-, sunken liner “Egypt.” The average value of each shot of the gr b is about fifty ihorssnd sterling. There are six shots each hour. The salvage work continues steadily all day long in the port end of the bullion room. The apparatus has worked without a hitch. The best singje haul was seventeen bars ,T ° '• worth nearly one thousand soveieigns each.
