HOME FLEET ASSEMBLING. RUGBY', June 23,
The Secretary of the Admiralty announces that the Home Fleet, under the command of 1 Admiral Sir John Kelly, will assemble at Weymouth on July 7th. His Majesty will arrive in the Royal yacht “Victoria and Albert” on July 11, and during his stay he will probably visit sonic of the ships present.
JAPANESE LEADERS WELCOMED. TOKYO, June 24.
A tremendous ovation was accorded the returning Admirals, Shiszaw, Honiara and Uematou, and Generals Ueda, Muro and Ivaumra, upon their arrival at Tokyo to-day. They were escorted by a bodyguard of cavalry to the palace where there were granted an audience with the Emperor, thereafter entertained at a State luncheon. To-night Prince Kanin was host at a dinner at Kasumignseki Palace.
