A message from Bristcn, New Hampshire, states:—Mrs Maude Ferguson, the first woman State Senator to he elected in New Hampshire, and > who was a delegate to the Republican Party’s National Convention at Chicago last week, has been found shotdead in the yard of her home to-night, At an inquiry the medical referee, Dr. Garland, brought in a verdict that Mrs Ferguson’s death was due to suicide.
