FINAL DIVIDEND

The general manager of the National Bank of New Zealand has received the fo.'.owing cable from the London office: The Board of Directors of the National Bank of New Zealand recommend!' a final dividend at tr.e rate ot isj x per cent, per annum .for the half year ended March 31s:, making seven per cent, for the year, free of tax.
The dividends paid in 1931 wore s*x per cent, in January and four per cent, in July, a total of 10 per cent. In 1930 the dividend was 12 per cent., and for some years preceding 11 par c>*’it. 'The met profit in 1931 was £208.286. i i i 930 £282,917. and in 1929 £290,582. The reserves at fhbalance on March 31st, 1331, were £2,168,457. The paid-up capita] of the company is £2,000,000.
