There was a good attendance and a good racing. The sum of £5,098£- was put through the totalizator, as against £5,435 on the first day last year, a decrease of £336£. Results: Moteo Hack Hurdles.—(6) Jayson 1; (8) Clopton 2; (4) King Wanga 3. Won by 2 lengths. Time 2.47 4-5. Petane Hack Steeples:—(l) Hard Gold 1; (3) Harrowgate 2; (4) Beau Regal 3. Won by a furlong and a-half. Time 4.28 1-5.
Meeanee Hack Handicap: —(1) Megaphone 1; (4) Sabatini 2; (1) Kinross 3. Won by H lengths; Time 1.17 1-5.
Napier -Steeplechase:—(3) Pangolin 1; (2) Airtight 2; (1) Princess Elizabeth 3. Won by 4 lengths. Time 5.12 2-5.
