An accident, fortunately without serious eonsequrneer., occurred at the residence of Mr F. G. Cooper, Cow per Street Greymouth yesterday morning, when an explosion occurred in the l.itel'cii rmigo, blowing the side out ol it, and scattering the pieces in all directions. No damage resulted other than to the stove. Fortunately, there was no one in tho room at the time of the explosion, as a piece of brans, which is surmised to be part of the detonate'-, which doubtless canned the explosion, was found embedded in the opposite wall of the room, about three feet from the floor.
