WELLINGTON, June 21. Judgment was delivered by Mr Justice Blair in the Supreme Court yesterday in the application brought by Lady Hunter, widow of the late Sir George 'Hunter, for payment of a capita] sum out of tl’.ie estate. His Honour allowed Lady Hunter £4OO a year from the date of her husband’s death, but refused an application for permanent maintenance made on behalf of her daughter, Edith May Hunter. “Quits outside purely legal consideration,?, there are practical considerations which make it impossible fur me ,to make the order a'sked for in this petition,” said his Honour, in delivering judgment on 'the daughter’s application. “By the will the whole income goes to ludy Hunter, and she is entitled to the whole income for life, or until re-marriage, when there is a fixed income, The daughter is not entitled it,o any share of capital.
