AUCKLAND YACHTSMAN’S PLAN

AUCKLAND, June 20.
A world crime in the keel yacht i “Heartsease” has been planned by a ’ party of yachtsmen. The Heartsease, one of Auckland’s best known A I class yachts, lias been purchased by ,Mr G. Dougins of. Havelock North, on behalf of himself and thre others, and it is the intention of the party to start on their cruise at the end of August. j it is understood that Lieutenant Commander J.uler who sailed the Rangi in the trans-Tasman yacht race last year, will be the skipper. In addition to Mr Dougins and two others, a fifth man will be invited to join the crew. According to present arrangements the cruise will extend over 18 months. From Auckland the yacht will proceed to Suva and from there to Norfolk Island. It will then sail for the Malay Archipelago, via Torres Straits The China coast will afterwards be visited, and a course will then lie set for England, via the Suer. Canal, calls being made at ports of interest j on route. j The Heartsease is *l9 leet in length, I with a beam of 11 feet 2 inches, and a draught of 7 feet..
