M iss Esther James who completed her walk through New Zealand, when she arrived at Bluff on .Saturday afternoon, received a number of congratulatory telem-anm mi the successful completion on h r 1600 mile tramp.
Jn lii/s message, Mr Coates states that as a New Zealand woman, she is to lie commended for her spirit and determination. Mr Coates adds that he will take up with the Prime Minister, her request- for recognition of her walking tour through Finland for the purpose of advertising Dominion goods.
