VALUELESS CHEQUE
FARMER GETS SIX MONTHS'. (By Telegraph —Per Press Association AUCKLAND, June 16. Walter Phillip Hailed, aged 30, a farmer, was sentenced to six months' hard labour to-day for obtaining a first class railway ticket from Auckland to Invercargill, and £24 1?~ in cash, by means of valueless che pica.
