KING AND QUEEN PRESENT. (British. Official Wireless.) RUGBY, June 14. Glorious: cloudless weather favoured the opening of the Ascot race meeting, which is one of the leading social sporting ’events of the season. The King and Queen, together with members of their family, followed their usual custom of driving along the course to the Royal Box in the four horse open carriage. The lawns and paddocks were crowded. Their Majesties were given a tumultous reception. The course was in splendid condition. The entries are exceptionally large, _____
