' KILLED BY FALLING TREE. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) STAUMARUNUi, June 13. A fatality occurred on Saturday afternoon, on a farm at Patuuga, down the Wanganui River, when Ivan Roscoe Smith. twenty-one with his I’aihor A. Ro.scoe Smith, well-known farmers, were felling a. tree. The tree had just been mavii when it kicked back. striking Iran Smith in the chest. He ran a few paces and collapsed into his father’s arms, dying ii'lmowt immediately.
